Cisco and Pearson Vue implement new security for exams

Taking a Cisco certification exam has just taken on new meaning here at MSI Services, Inc. as well as other authorized testing centers. Candidates will be required to sit for a digital photograph as part of the check in procedures as part of an enhanced security program. This new requirement is just one part of two ways Pearson Vue and Cisco plan on ensuring the integrity of exams. All Cisco exams will be subject to an intensive data forensics program to detect aberrant testing behavior. This means such things as time spent on questions, whether answers were changed, how long the exam took and hundreds of other data points are logged and a record is created during the exam and analyzed for aberrant testing behavior. If problems are identified the exam will be flagged and scores could be determined invalid. If a candidates score is invalidated they may have to retake the exam or even may be banned anywhere from a year to a lifetime from taking a certification exam. Though the consequences seem harsh Cisco and Pearson Vue are determined to protect the integrity of one of the most highly valued credentials available to IT professionals.

Due to the success of their first course held recently, a new course date of Saturday, February 23rd has been added. This course will take place from 8am to 1pm. The cost of the course is $89.
