MSI Services Vocational Program Update

This month we have five students attending our Vocational program, MOS Certification Plus. This month's group of students is currently gearing up to take their Microsoft Office User Specialist exams. We are expecting good results!
Last month, four out of our five vocational students passed their exam on their very first try and are now certified Microsoft Office specialists. This certification helps students in their search for better careers. Already from our last class, three out of the five students have found gainful employment. This is due to their hard work not only in job search, but also to their hard work and effort in the classroom!
This course is four weeks of hands-on, instructor-led training that takes students from a rudimentary understanding of computers to an official certification in one of the Microsoft Office software programs. Ron Vreeland, Director of Training Services at MSI, states that "these courses are perfect for individuals who wish to better their career through fun and intense training and also through specific vendor certification."

MSI Services Offers Windows Vista and Office 2007 Classes

Microsoft recently released their latest version of their fantastic operating system family, Windows. Windows Vista is the latest in a long-running series of operating systems which has single handedly changed the way that we work with, think and feel about computers. Does anyone remember the days before Windows was a staple in each of our homes? I certainly do; I can say with absolute certainty that Windows makes life a lot easier in both my professional and personal life. If you have ever used Windows, you will immediately see how easy it is to work and navigate through this interface. However, this doesn’t mean you will not have questions! This is where we can help.
Although Windows Vista has only been on the market for a few months, we are already fielding questions about training courses for this new operating system. We have courses forming now for both Windows Vista and all of the newly released Office 2007 programs! MSI Executive Nominated

Each spring, the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Awards Dinner to recognize achievement and service by members of the community. Nominees are recognized in numerous categories including Quality in Living, Customer Service among many others. MSI Services's President, Frank Ableson, has been nominated in the category of Young Business Leader. This year's event is held at the Crystal Springs Country Club on Rt. 94 in Hardyston, NJ. A special, Lifetime Achievement award is being presented to State Senator Robert E. Littell in recognition of his life long service to Sussex County. Congratulations, Senator Littell.
